The course itself requires about 2 hours per week for video lessons and 1–2 hours for workbook reflections and exercises.

Beyond that, the practices you're learning, like Famli circles, observing your child, and planning learning experiences, become part of your home education, not something separate. You're not adding work on top of homeschooling; you're learning how to homeschool while you do it.

Group coaching calls happen every three weeks and run about 2.5 hours, giving you space to connect with other families, ask questions, and gain personalized support.

The Foundations Journey isn't formally accredited by a traditional institution, but upon completion, you'll earn your Light Way Home Educator Certification, a credential that demonstrates you've been trained in a comprehensive, research-based approach to home education.

This certification gives you confidence when explaining your approach to family members, co-parents, or anyone who questions your qualifications. It shows you're not winging it. You've been professionally trained.

We're also building toward Light Way University, where this certification will eventually count toward a degree in Home Education. You're getting in on the ground floor of something that will continue to grow and gain recognition over time.

You'll have everything you need to continue home educating with confidence: a complete framework, practical tools, and a clear understanding of how to guide your child's learning for years to come.
