Zahra Lightway M.Ed, BA.

Vision Catalyst with a passion for education innovation & community, Zahra taught all ages, trained teachers, initiated school wide reform & founded a micro-school to see what was possible free of system constraints. There she developed the Light Way System 

Now she is co-founding Light Way Learning with a mission to make learning a liberating force for change by empowering parents to become confident, highly qualified home educators & joyful parents.

Kim Swaffield M.Ed.

Kim is co-founder of Light Way Learning,  the Director of Coaching and a certified Light Way Coach. A former early childhood educator and accreditation specialist, Kim brings expertise in National Association of for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards, Reggio Emilia philosophy, and project-based learning. 

She’s leading the design of the Light Way Coach Certification, weaving her deep respect for play, emotional attunement, and whole-child development into a transformational coaching experience for home education leaders - a.k.a. home school parents.

She is also “NanaKim” to two beautiful grandchildren aged 3 and almost 1.
